Ok, maybe “bulk” isn’t exactly the right word, since I tend to think of “bulk” orders as being in the thousands, or at the very least, hundreds.

But, due to several recent requests, I’ve updated the site and added pricing for larger quantities, so now you can order quantities of 25 and 50 individually framed 4 leaf clovers, and receive a lower price for it!

It’s great for events, but please plan ahead.  I ask that customers allow 30 days for a large order to ship, though orders may arrive earlier.  Though they are not color-treated, if you receive them in advance, they will stay green for a very long time (months or even years), as long as they are kept in a cool, dark place.

I almost never do markdowns directly on the main website— promotional prices usually are listed on ebay or as clearance, and even those are rare– but this weekend is special.

Not only is it Friday the 13th, but there is also a full moon!  It’s so rare that it will not happen again until 2049!  I don’t know if it’s good luck or bad luck, but one can’t be too careful!

So, to mark the occasion, the newest style of framed 4 leaf clovers is marked down by about 20%.  Get them individually, or in groups of 3 to save more.

And, good luck this weekend!!

In response to the many requests I receive for information regarding large orders of the framed lucky clovers, I will be adding that as an option on the website soon.  Until then, please use the contact form or email for inquiries about pricing and availability.

Typically, I have enough 4 leaf clovers available to fill orders of 100+ pieces.  However, I do not always have enough frames for bulk orders, and usually have to purchase or reorder them for orders of more than a couple of dozen.  This means it can take up to 2 weeks for me to receive the frames needed to assemble a large order.  So, if ordering a large quantity, please keep this in mind, and allow approximately 30 days to receive your order.

Currently, individual framed clovers are available for 19.00, while lots of 3 are available for a discount.  By ordering 3 pieces, you save over 10%.

The current plan is to add 12-lots for a larger discount, and perhaps 50-lots for an even larger discount.

The newest frames are already almost gone!  I am down to the last few, and the frames I just ordered will not arrive for another week or two.  So, if you want these, better hurry!

With St. Patrick’s Day less than a week away, I cannot guarantee they will arrive before the 17th. BUT… anyone who places an order before 3/17 will get a free upgrade to Priority shipping.  That’s right!  For just the standard shipping rate, you get an upgrade to Priority for no additional charge!  And since USPS now advertises that it only takes 2 days, you should have it in time if you order within the next day or 2. (Offer applies only to orders within USA)

Framed 4 Leaf Clovers

Framed Four Leaf Clovers

The framed real 4 leaf clovers and the 4-leaf clover necklaces and keychains on the main soulbearing.com site have been very popular!

Right before the holidays, they were so popular that I was having trouble keeping up with the demand, especially since they are all found growing wild and are not genetically engineered and cultivated en masse.  So, many customers have noticed that when trying to purchase directly from the website, there is an “out of stock” message.  I haven’t actually run out of clovers– I just couldn’t get them in frames fast enough!

That’s about to change.

The new frame styles are just a little different, and there are a few one-of-a-kind framed designs, as well.  Since I am still getting back in the swing of things and have a lot of catching up to do, it will be a couple of days before I can photograph them and post them on the website, but they are on the way!  They’ll be available in plenty of time for St. Patrick’s Day.

It will be a while longer before there are more keychains and necklaces featuring the real lucky clovers, but in the meantime, you can find a variety of items for sale and printed with photos of 4 leaf clovers here.  I know, I know.  They’re prints and not the actual clovers.  But the photos of the clovers still unpicked are lovely, and also very popular.  And, they’ll ship in plenty of time for St. Patrick’s Day, too.

Some readers have noticed it has been quite some time since my last post, and since the website was last updated.  While I’d like to say I was away on some exotic photo shoot or relaxing at an art retreat, the truth is I have been struggling with a severe bout of depression.

When my grandfather passed away a little over 2 years ago, I was able to repress the grief for some time, but then finally the realization came– he is gone.

As a small child, I sat on his lap during church services, drawing on the church bulletin.  He is one of the biggest reasons I eventually chose to study and create art, because those early memories are among the best I have.  Since his passing, most attempts to paint or draw have only reminded me of how much I miss him.  I was on the brink of throwing in the towel, tossing out the art supplies, burning whatever paintings remain, and closing the website, not because I do not want to continue this line of work, but simply because at times it just felt like too much to take on in the midst of depression.

However, my supporters, friends, and clients have been determined to drag me out of my mental muck, and for that I am thankful.  From the friend who reminded me that the portrait of his dog still means so much to him even after more than a decade, to the stranger who ordered some of my ornaments on Zazzle knowing her loved ones will have and cherish them even after she is gone (hopefully many, many years from now), to the customers who ordered lucky clovers to give a boost to their own friends– all of you have helped me to realize… it is not really about me.  It is about leaving the world in better condition than it was in when I arrived, and how my work makes others think and feel.  In other words…  It is about all of you!

So for now, I am putting away my self-pity to make room for more new art & photography, more new additions to the Zazzle store, more auction listings, more 4 leaf clovers, and eventually more “Nonprofit of the Month” posts.  And, the main website should be updated soon, so be sure to check out http://soulbearing.com for the latest art & photography releases and lucky clovers, and for links to order prints of my work from Zazzle.

And, because all of you allow and encourage me to keep doing what I do, you have my eternal gratitude.

Thank You.

Will they stay green until the holidays? Yes!! Just store them in a cool dark dry place, away from UV light and excess heat, and they will stay green for many months– even years!!  The one I keep on my desk is one of the first I found almost ten years ago and it is still bright green, even after all these years!!

These lucky clovers grow wild and are not treated with any dyes or chemicals, so they are as close to fresh and natural as you can get, without combing through acres of clovers yourself.

And with next year being a dreaded 13, who couldn’t use a little extra luck?

Get yours now at soulbearing.com or on eBay!!

Also, coming this week: more new fine art paintings (hopefully)

Some believe that if you hold a 4 leaf clover at dawn on St. Patrick’s Day, your heart’s greatest wish will come true.  Here’s a chance to test it and see if it works.

This is the last week to order framed 4 leaf clovers in time for St. Patrick’s Day, from either soulbearing.com, or from my eBay listings.

But if you miss the St. Patty’s Day deadline, don’t worry.  I offer the framed clovers nearly year round, because good luck is welcome any day, and the lucky clovers are always fun unique gifts!!
