I’ve added a few pencil drawings to eBay.. I know! Finally, right?!

I apologize for the wait, but I think bidders will be pleased that the starting bid is under $25 for each of 5 original pencil sketches, and the “Buy It Now” price is just $75 each.

AND….

10% of proceeds will be donated to Annabelle’s Second Chance Pit Bull Rescue.

You can view the new listings here.

Update: I know, I know.. It’s been more than a “couple” of days!  Many humble apologies for keeping you waiting!  The following auction listings will be posted tomorrow!  (That’s November 11.)  Thank you for your patience. ❤

In the next couple of days, I will be posting some drawings on eBay.  Normally, if someone doesn’t claim them before the sealant is dry, I post paintings and drawings for sale on the main website.  But, since I originally started off selling some on eBay years ago, I thought it’d be a nice bit of nostalgia to list them that way again.   And, it’s a way of saying “thank you” to my supporters.   The starting bids will be affordable, and I have not done a lot of publicizing, so there’s a chance to get some deals!

Each drawing is in ebony pencil, on 9×12 sketch paper with smudge resistant clear coat.

Here’s a preview of some of the listings– the “S.Lynnette” watermarks are not part of the drawings.  🙂

The holidays are coming!  And I have reduced prices on most of the items in my Zazzle store, just in time!

And, those art auctions I mentioned several days ago are on the way.  I’ve finished a few new sketches, and will be listing them for auction on eBay with low starting bids.  Those will be posted in the next couple of days, and of course I will post a blog update when I list them!  It’s my way of saying “thank you” to the clients and customers who have supported me, and it’s how I pay for website maintenance, too, so don’t be bashful about bidding high! 😀

And, since most of us can always use a little luck, I will also be listing a few lucky clovers for auction at reduced prices, even though they are already very affordable and available on the main website at soulbearing.com.  Happy shopping!

For this week’s remaining eBay listings, domestic shipping is FREE, while supplies last (and there aren’t many left!!).

Next week, there will be more goodies, but shipping will probably not be free!!

Usually, the nonprofits featured here are smaller and closer to home. However, 4-H is a fabulous organization performing many valuable services, and this Bristow chapter is not so far away. So, for the month of October, at least 10% of my eBay auctions will be donated to Nokesville 4-H Club.  (And, it is highly appriopriate since the 4-H logo is a 4-leaf clover, and that happens to be one of the things regularly offered via soulbearing.com and my eBay auctions.)

Nokesville 4-H Club is “a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. Our club focuses on self-development with leadership skills, community service projects, and environmental awareness.”

For more information about 4-H or to contribute to them directly, visit their website.

For lucky 4 leaf clovers and original fine art paintings and prints, visit soulbearing.com or my eBay auctions.

I know, I know. CBF was featured on this blog just a couple of months ago, and I normally choose a new nonprofit at the start of each month. However, there were no new eBay listings at the start of the month, and since new listings were posted in mid-month, I decided to re-feature one of my fave local nonprofits.

CBF is “a member-supported non-profit organization committed to saving the Chesapeake Bay through restoration activities, environmental advocacy, award-winning education programs, and litigation.”

So, for the remainder of the month, Chesapeake Bay Foundation will receive 10% of my eBay auctions. If you’d like to make a direct contribution to CBF, please visit their website.

Now that the new site is up and running at http://soulbearing.com, the soulbearing store on eBay will be closing.  Don’t worry, there will still be chances to bid on items for auction on occassion (look for the id “slynnette”), and auctions will be announced here.  But, the new store/gallery will handle most of the art sales.  This will allow me to better focus on providing quality art and service, without having my attention divided by having to maintain multiple stores.

There isn’t a set date for closure of the eBay store, but the move should be completed within the next couple of days.  So, if you’d like to purchase something there, visit http://stores.ebay.com/soulbearing

If you are on one of my email lists via eBay, the email service will be discontinued after the eBay store closes.  The good news is that you can now subscribe to email updates via this blog, and you will receive an update when there is a new post here.  Just click the “subscribe” link at the top of the page.

Many thanks all the wonderful buyers and sellers who provided support and encouragement, and I hope you all visit and support the new site!
